Claiborne
County Hospital and Nursing Home staff held a bake sale and book sale on
Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 to benefit Jennifer Atkins, a Claiborne County
Hospital employee whose family recently lost their home in a fire. The
bake/book sale was located in the hallway past the hospital lobby, and a
variety of things were for sale, from books and magazines for reading
enjoyment, to candy, cookies, and other baked goods. Including donations
made by staff, a total of $1000.00 was raised for Jennifer and her family.
