Claiborne County Healthcare Golf Tournament
Raises More Than $30,000
TAZEWELL, Tenn. — The Claiborne
County Healthcare Foundation’s sixth annual Golf Scramble for Great
Healthcare, held September 22 at Woodlake Golf Course, raised more than
$30,000 for healthcare projects in the community including development of an
In-Patient Rehabilitation Program at the Claiborne County Hospital.
The Healthcare Foundation extends
our thanks to our championship sponsors Baptist Health Systems and First
Century Bank. We also wish to thank all of our sponsors, donors, and
volunteers who made the event such a success.
Fifty-three teams registered for
this year’s tournament and were placed into one of two flights, either the
morning or the afternoon.
The winner of the morning flight
with a score of 52 was Lakeside Realty. Playing for the Lakeside Realty team
were Dave Davis, Fred England, Jerry Snyder, and Richard England.
The winner of the afternoon
flight with a score of 51 was Stanifer Drugs. Playing for the Stanifer Drugs
team were Glenn Singer, Bugs Evans, Bill Stanifer, and Norris Davis.
