Hospital Recognized in Modern Healthcare Magazine Claiborne County Hospital has been recognized in the April 7, 2008 issue of Modern Healthcare magazine. A survey by the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) show that CCH ranked tied for fifth in the nation when patients were asked if they would recommend the hospital to friends and family. HCAHPS surveyed patients on 10 different issues, mostly on communication and hospital environment questions. More that 2500 hospital participated in the initial release, which is based on data obtained form hospital stays that occurred between October 2007 and June 2007. |
