Claiborne
County Hospital Begins Patient Satisfaction Surveys
Claiborne Progress
May 24, 2007
Claiborne County
Hospital and Nursing Home is currently undergoing a period of growth and
expansion, but one thing that remains constant is the desire of the hospital
staff for constantly improving customer service. As a part of this
initiative, hospital volunteers have begun conducting telephone patient
satisfaction surveys to get customer input. These surveys will only take
approximately eight minutes to complete, and for any patient that takes the
time to provide information on their level of satisfaction with the hospital
services, their name will be entered into a monthly drawing to win a $50
gift card. These surveys will be completed by anyone who receives any
Claiborne County Hospital service, both in-patient hospitalization and also
out-patient services like laboratory tests, X-rays, and rehabilitation
therapy.
While these
surveys are one means of obtaining patient feedback, the hospital staff
wants local residents to know that their input is always appreciated.
"While we look
forward to using the surveys as part of our patient satisfaction process, I
want our customers to know that they don't have to wait for a survey
opportunity to provide information on how we can improve or what we are
doing well. They can contact us at any time at (423) 526-2335," said Tim
Brown, administrator.
The
administration and staff of Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home
appreciates the opportunity to be your healthcare provider and continually
strives to improve the service they provide to the community. The patient
satisfaction survey is another way that the hospital slogan, "Professional
Care. Caring Professionals," is practiced on a daily basis.
