Sleep Center Opens
 

 April 2006

 

   Huedo Diagnostics, LLC in partnership with Claiborne County Hospital opens a new Sleep Diagnostic Center. Sleep medicine is one of the fastest growing fields nationwide.

   Claiborne Co. Hospital is so fortunate to have this new Sleep Center. CCH can now provide diagnostic testing for residents of this area; you no longer need to travel to Knoxville for this important test. Your physician just fills out the referral form and faxes to the number provided, CCH will do the rest. The center offers nighttime and daytime sleep studies (for shift workers). If you exhibit any of the following symptoms you may need a sleep study: loud snoring, daytime sleepiness, observed sleep apnea, gasping for breath, morning headaches, leg jerks, fatigue, obesity or hypertension.

   We currently have two beds open four nights a week and will soon expand our services to 7 days a week. The center has benefited from a generous donation from England, Inc. and help from Bushline, Inc. We can’t thank them enough for their generosity.
