Vista Radiology, P.C. became the exclusive
provider of radiology services at Claiborne County Hospital beginning Friday,
June 16th.
Many of Vista's 25 board certified radiologists provide services at the
Tazewell facility, led primarily by John Powell Williams, III, M.D. who serves
as Vista's site chief at the hospital. In addition, recent technology
investments by the hospital will allow physicians of Claiborne County to request
remote consultations from fellowship trained sub-specialists.
Claiborne County Hospital and Nursing Home, is a community-owned healthcare
organization serving Claiborne residents and patients in surrounding counties.
Established 40 years ago as Fort Sanders Radiology, Vista Radiology is the
largest and most sub-specialized radiology practice in East Tennessee. With 25
Board Certified radiologists, Vista is uniquely positioned to provide East
Tennessee with the highest available level of radiology expertise.
Vista Radiology also specializes in non-surgical, minimally invasive
treatments such as endovascular repair of aneurysms, acute stroke treatments,
and UFE, in Knoxville and the surrounding areas. Vista's membership includes
fellowship trained specialists in body / cross sectional imaging, MR imaging,
musculoskeletal radiology, neuro-interventional radiology, neuroradiology,
vascular and interventional radiology, women's imaging / breast intervention,
PET and nuclear medicine, and pediatric radiology.
Vista currently provides radiology services for Fort Sanders Regional Medical
Center, Parkwest Medical Center, Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center, Fort
Loudoun Medical Center, Roane Medical Center, East Tennessee Children's Hospital
and Claiborne County Hospital. Additionally, Vista services outpatient
facilities such as Fort Sanders West Diagnostic Center, Thompson Breast Center,
Thompson Cancer West, HealthSouth Diagnostic Center, Parkwest Breast Center and
Healthstar Physicians.
