Connie Combs has been chosen as “Employee of the Year 2008”!

Connie began working at this facility on August 19, 2002, as a housekeeper.  She was nominated by fellow co-worker, Virginia Bussell, along with several others, who stated, “Connie goes the extra mile by volunteering to help out with the residents with things such as taking drinks and snacks to them or just sitting with them when they want some company. She has even taken her own money to buy items the residents request. She offers to help out with any thing that needs to be done and always does it with a smile on her face.”  Connie has one daughter, Ashley Webb, and a grandson, Kaden, whom she loves to spoil.  Some of Connie’s past times include shopping, music, and being on the water.  Commenting on her time as an employee here, Connie states, “I’ve worked here for over six years and I really love my job.  I like all of my co-workers but most of all I love my residents.  When I go into their rooms and see them smile, it just makes my day.  I’d like to say thanks to my boss, Ron Hayes, for having me as an employee here and for being a good boss.” Environmental Services Manager, Ron Hayes, stated, “Connie is an excellent employee that I appreciate for all her hard work, dedication, and her caring nature towards the residents
