as a polysomnogram (polysomnography), is a test that records the physical
state during the varying stages of sleep and wakefulness. This data can be
invaluable to the physician evaluating sleep related complaints, identifying
the specific sleep stages of difficulties, brain electrical activity,
cardiac related activities, muscle activity, snoring issues and overall
sleep behavior.
